Interpreting People

I like to think I’m decent when it comes to judging people’s actions and words. Here’s a few examples.
Person A: Don’t let anybody tell you differently (after a rude statement by them was made and I called them out on it)
What they really meant here was that they want to get away with being rude, so they try to back it up with saying that people shouldn’t let someone be rude to them.
Person B: Don’t be brooding, I’m attracted to the dark, brooding type.
What this person meant was that she didn’t want to be attracted to me.
See how this works? All it takes is watching people and learning what they do and why they do it. ![]()
