I don’t proclaim to be the world’s best writer. I make mistakes all the time. But at least I know enough to proofread before submitting a paper or article …
I got an email about a potential scholarship to help me pay for school. “Great,” I thought. “Can’t hurt to look.” But what was inside gave me a nice chuckle. Here is the relevant part:
To be eligible for this award, you must submit an essay of 500 years or less answering the question: “What can one student do to help the environment?”
Sure, I have 500 years to spend on a scholarship entry. Let me get my time machine.
